Dalton Logistical Services provides transloading and storage for our customers who are not rail-served. It is our responsibility to safely remove our customer's product from a variety of railcars (box cars, A-frames, gondolas, flats, etc.) and either store those goods or place them on trucks for delivery.

DLS accomplishes this task in many ways, depending on the commodity the customer has shipped. We have 4 portable docks which allow us to load and unload box cars or vans when handling palletized material such as canned goods, lumber, or paper rolls. A fleet of forklifts, with load capacities up to 72,000 pounds, and associated hardware enable us to manage larger loads including steel plate, rebar, manufactured beams, H-pile, steel pipe, coils, and the like.

Dalton Logistical Services operates on 12 acres strategically located 1 mile west of the main Union Pacific rail yard in Colton, CA. We have 4 tracks within our yard which can facilitate up to 34 rail cars at a time. Our 30,000 square foot warehouse provides protection for our customer's material that cannot be exposed to the weather. The entire site is secured by a fenced/walled perimeter with a dozen surveillance cameras.
